Healthcare: Website Redesign That Converts
The challenge
A multi-location dental practice had a dated website with poor mobile experience, no online booking, and minimal SEO. Despite strong offline reputation, they were invisible in local search — not appearing in Google Maps or local pack results for any key terms. New patient acquisition relied entirely on word-of-mouth and mailers.
Our strategy
Mobile-first redesign
We rebuilt the site with a mobile-first approach — 68% of their visitors were on phones. Every page featured prominent booking CTAs, click-to-call buttons, and location-specific landing pages for each practice.
Local SEO domination
We optimized Google Business Profiles for all locations, built consistent NAP citations across 50+ directories, and implemented LocalBusiness schema markup. Each location got a dedicated landing page targeting '[service] + [city]' keywords.
Conversion optimization
We added online booking integration, patient testimonial videos, insurance acceptance lists, and before/after galleries. Form fields were reduced from 12 to 5, and we added a chatbot for after-hours inquiries.
Review generation system
We implemented an automated review request system that sent SMS follow-ups after appointments, growing their Google review count from 47 to 280+ across all locations.
The results
Online bookings increased 240% within 4 months of launch. The conversion rate from visitor to appointment request jumped 85%. Organic traffic doubled as the site began ranking for 120+ local keywords. Three locations reached the Google Maps 3-pack for primary keywords. The practice attributed $380K in additional annual revenue directly to the new digital presence.
"Our phones started ringing the week the new site went live. We've had to hire additional staff."
